1st quality, natural
acceptable knots: sound and tight with diameter &le 2mm, decayed knots with diameter &le 1 mm, varied rings, natural, in different shades, surface cracks unacceptable, humidity 8-10 %.
1st quality, dark
acceptable knots: sound and tight with diameter &le 2mm; decayed knots with diameter &le 1 mm, surface cracks unacceptable, varied rings of flooring blocks, different shades of brown (without visible white tarnish), humidity 8-10 %.
1st quality, light
acceptable knots: sound and tight with diameter &le 2mm, decayed knots with diameter &le 1 mm, surface cracks unacceptable, varied rings, different shades of light, pinkish tarnish (without visible brown dye penetration), humidity 8-10 %.
2nd quality
acceptable minute knots: sound and tight with diameter &le 10mm, decayed knots with diameter &le 5 mm, surface cracks acceptable up to 15 mm long, varied rings and shades, humidity 8-10 %.
3rd quality
all characteristics acceptable with no limitations in size and quantity, unless they cause decrease in floor strength or wear resistance.

2nd quality
acceptable knots: sound and tight with diameter &le 10mm, decayed knots with diameter &le 5 mm, surface cracks acceptable up to 15 mm long, white sound acceptable from lower surface to upper part of tongue, varied rings and shades, humidity 8-10 %.
3rd quality
all characteristics acceptable with no limitations in size and quantity, unless they cause decrease in floor strength or wear resistance, humidity 8-10 %.

ATTENTION !
Because of unavoidable differences in sorting, 2% of lower quality flooring boards are permissible in each class (in conformity with DIN 280, 4.1.).

2. Range of possible machining faults:

- upper flat surface: wavy planing up to 0,3 mm deep;
- lower flat surface: timber decrement up to 2 mm deep, up to 5 mm wide and up to 1/3 of wood flooring length;
- sides: cavings and pulled out grains up to 0,3 mm;
- fronts: front perpendicularity deviation from wood flooring axis lengthwise up to 0.5% of flooring width;
- dados and tongues have to provide appropriate wood flooring assembly without any crevices in floor surface.

3. Storage:

Parquet should be stored in a dry place that is permeable to air, protected against sunlight and precipitation. Parcels should be insulated from the ground.. Temperature in storage room should be 20°C minimum and air humidity below 60%. 

4. Transport:

Parquet should be transported on covered means of transport. Parcels must be protected against displacing and damage.

5. Complaint claims:

Quality and humidity of parquet have to be checked before it has been laid, possibly upon delivery or reception. Our company does not allow for complaints after parquet has been laid. Problems caused by natural wood movement are not a basis for complaint.
